In 2013, Startbot partnered with Innovation Works to launch AlphaLab Gear, one of the world's first hardware accelerator programs. Focused on physical technology, AlphaLab Gear assists companies in the ramp-up from market discovery to prototype development to manufacturing and sales.

Over 40 companies have gone through AlphaLab Gear, most of which have subsequently attracted significant outside investment.
